The Human Centipede (First Sequence) Gonna Worm You Up

I can imagine the tagline:" He's right up your ass. Literally." But that would just be too light-heartedly inappropriate for what transpired in this film.

Paranormal Activity, meet your nemesis for the contender for Horror Movie of the Year.

Written and directed by Dutch film maker Tom Six (yes what a name to have), The Human Centipede (First Sequence), wildly considered as "The Most Provocative Film Of 2009", is about, well, a picture tells a thousand words:

Starring Dieter Laser as Dr. Heiter, a world-renowned expert at separating conjoined twins, but now but dreams of making new creatures that share a single digestive system by joining separate individuals via their mouths and anuses, you'll get Ashley C. Williams, Ashlynn Yennie, and Akihiro Kitamura as, well, parts of the human centipede. My apologies, too late for any spoiler alert. You have to understand the difficulties here in describing a one-trick-pony.

Recipient of several accolades at various international horror film festivals despite poor to mixed reviews, Tom Six has reportedly begun working on a sequel to the film, set to be released in 2011. Just what do you think they meant when they captioned it "The First Sequence"? The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) will supposedly include a centipede composed of twelve individuals. Film-promoting gimmick or not, Tom Six has stated that the idea of the first film is to get audiences used to the idea of a human centipede, thus preparing them for the idea of a much more graphic and disturbing sequel, 'First Sequence' being "'My Little Pony compared with part two."

Will you watch this one? Anyway, posters and trailer below.
