Sherlock Holmes Vs Zombies: Undead Monday

Posted by Grey Monday, December 14, 2009

It seems like good ol' Holmes is getting one heel of a revival lately with all this crazy exposure over the popular medias. As pop culture goes, prepare yourself as Holmes match wit against... the undead.

Remember our earlier entry on the Sherlock Holmes comic, written by Leah Moore & John Reppion? Being the hot (and license-free) item that he is now, Sherlock Holmes will be facing off the undead in this aptly-named title, "Victorian Undead", written by Ian Edginton with Art by Davide Fabbri. The first installment of the six-issue limited series has been published last month.

DC had release a 4-page preview of the first issue, right here.

The official press release of the series, as below:

"Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth." Those are the words of Mr. Sherlock Holmes, the world's first consulting detective, yet even he finds his skills tested to their limit as he and his erstwhile comrade Dr. John Watson are confronted with the most extraordinary case of their career – the dead are returning to life! Can a plague of Biblical proportions be far behind for Victorian London? And who – or what – is behind the resurrection of these ravenous revenants?
