F.3.A.R Trailer

There's nothing to fear but F.3.A.R itself.

Developer Day 1 Studios has on April 8th announced that F.3.A.R, the sequel to F.E.A.R. 2, will be released late 2010 and will be featuring renowned sci-fi and horror director John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape from New York) on the cinematic while horror writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) is involved in the writing chores.

Day 1 Studios founder and president Denny Thorley has indicated that player will be able to control both Point Man and Paxton Fettel, the protagonist and antagonist from the first game, F.E.A.R, respectively, while Alma Wade, the primary antagonist, will return with a vengeance.

Been a while since we last saw a live action game trailer, and the recently released trailer for the game presents a delightful change. Featuring the first-person narration by Paxton Fettel, a fully grown adult Alma is shown to be giving birth to Michael Becket's child, conceived in the previous game when Alma sexually assaulted Becket, making the poor bloke the first protagonist in video gaming history to be sexually assaulted by a female ghost. This creepy baby is probably the main antagonist this time round. Meanwhile, a rugged man with long hair, much purported to be the previously masked Point Man, was featured heavily with Paxton Fettel himself.

Do check out the trailer.
