The King is dead. Long live the King.

Kotaku, gathering some of the finest in gaming industry, pays tribute to the King of Fantasy Arts, Frank Frazetta. Meanwhile, ComicBookResources pays tribute by putting together a collection of some of the rarest and finest works of the master.


As reported earlier, Frank Frazetta, the legendary fantasy illustrator, passed away on May 10th, 2010. Having influencing the imaginations of artists, writers, musicians and professionals of fields more diverse than you can imagine, Frazetta's legacy is much more colossal than one might initially thought. Here, we see the appreciation by the gaming industry.

Kudos to the very thoughtful folks at Kotaku, for their ensemble of some of the very finest artists from several gaming studios in a tribute to honor Frazetta.
