Dead Space 2 Trailer - E3 2010: Undead Monday

Posted by Grey Monday, July 5, 2010

More on Isaac Clarke's triumphant return to dismember more monstrosities while picking up mental issues along the ride.

The mental issues, caused by Isaac Clarke's experiences with the mysterious "marker" aboard the Ishimura in his previous misadventure in 2008's critically acclaimed Survival Horror third-person shooter, Dead Space, seems to be permanent as Clarke dwell into increasingly maddening terror with this upcoming sequel. Adding into poor Isaac's misery, apart from suffering apparent PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) (hell, a squeamish player might caught that too from playing the game) from his last misadventure, Isaac Clarke will witness yet another Necromorph infection on a space station dubbed the "Sprawl".

During Sony's E3 press conference earlier last month, Dead Space 2 were presented with an all-new trailer, along with a kickass surprise: The PlayStation 3 version will come with a port of the Wii rail-shooter, Dead Space: Extraction, complete with PlayStation Move (the upcoming motion-sensing game controller platform for the PlayStation 3) support! Talk about "one-upmanship". Eat yer heart out, Nintendo. And Xbox 360 too. While there were no mention of any upgrade, both visually and gameplay-wise, to the port, it will surely factor in when players decide which platform of the game they should purchase.

Without further ado, let's take a look at some of official released wallpaper, freely provided by EA via the Dead Space 2 official site, and check out the cool E3 trailer embedded below, picking up where the previous Dementia trailer left off.
