Dragon Age II Destiny Trailer Director's Cut - Gamescom 2010

Posted by Grey Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Gamescom has passed us for sometime. But the passing of time should not prevent the joy of viewing a kick-ass trailer for a potentially kick-ass game. Especially not this one.

Especially for Dragon Age II's gorgeous Destiny trailer, which had gotten itself a bloodier enhancement with a Director's Cut, weeks after its premiere at Gamescom.

Featuring an epic mano-a-mano battle between new protagonist, Hawke, and a big and gloomy horned demon/humanoid dude, the epic fight scene gets some much-needed extended seconds, culminating in a finisher move when Hawke tapped into some seemingly forbidden dark dragon-esque magic to totally disintegrate the big evil dude to oblivion.

Let's hope the actual game turned out to kick as much asses as this one. The upcoming sequel to the fan-favorite Dragon Age series, and in particular, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age II is slated to hit stores on March 11th next year.

For the more pussy-hearted, the no frills version.
