Is Frank Miller Guilty?

Posted by Grey Friday, September 3, 2010

Guilty for what he unleashed on mankind with his adaptation of Will Eisner's much beloved iconic pulp character, "The Spirit"? I'm afraid not.

Frank Miller continues his spiral downward trip to hell, bringing Captain America and Queen Sophie-Anne along in his descent.

Set to premiere during MTV's 2010 Video Music Awards on September 12th, Gucci posted on their offical facebook page a teaser trailer of an advertisement directed by Frank Miller (of Sin City and The Spirit fame, okay, just joking with you on the latter) for their new fragrance entitled “Guilty”. Starring Evan Rachel Wood (well known for her role as Sophie-Anne Leclerq in True Blood) and Chris Evans (the upcoming Captain America), the teaser trailer seemed to followed the surrealistic style of the director's disastrously horrendous solo directorial debut, The Spirit. In short, a crazy little thing absolutely capable of inciting self-loath (if you actually like it deep down).

Check out the 30-second clip right after the jump.

Interestingly, a YouTube user by the name of Braztaz have this to say at the comments thread of the YouTube page:

dear frank miller,

what the hell happened to you, bro?

signed,

everyone.
