Battle: Los Angeles Viral Clips & Poster

"Black Hawk Down meets Independence Day", eh. We'll see.

Having surprised many who attended San Diego Comic-Con with its high (or is that low) concept of an intense real-time war movie from the perspective of the Marines as they battle against an alien invasion on the streets of Los Angeles, Battle: Los Angeles has remained relatively low profile since then. Featuring Aaron Eckhart as a Marine Staff Sergeant with Michelle Rodriguez as his subordinate, Technical Sergeant Adriana Santos, the film is directed by South African filmmaker Jonathan Liebesman.

The film is slated for release on March 11, 2011. In the meantime, check out some of the posters and video clips (no, not trailer) released.

As the video footages that were screened during SDCC are not readily available online, there's just a scene from the film, so short that you gonna be cursing on it. Regardless, it is embedded below after the jump.

And a new viral video just out that has actor Kevin West playing a scientist-type who has smart-arse commentary (the kind scientists always have in a Sci-Fi film) on the alien force's intention to colonize our good dear planet.
