Screening Today At New York Comic-Con: Day Three

Posted by Grey Monday, October 11, 2010

The final entry in our ongoing coverage on the exclusive film screenings at New York Comic Con.

Even more gore, and a close-up look at a great mind.

Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl
Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Location: Room 1E03
Description: High school love meets hard gore! Yoshihiro Nishimura and Naoyuki Tomomatsu’s latest film wowed New York audiences at its World Premiere earlier this year. See what all the buzz -- and blood -- is about. Mature audiences. (FUNimation)

Our Views: The Vs. theme continues as vampires take on Frankenstein... complete with teenage angst in dynamic Japanese ultra-gore style. What a great way to start a lovely Sunday morning.

Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods
Time: 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm
Location: Room 1E02
Description: Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods is a feature-length documentary covering the entire career of legendary comics writer Grant Morrison, focusing on how his work ties to his life, his unique personal experiences, and his intellectual ideas. NOTE: This is a screening of Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods. Grant Morrison will not personally be appearing

Our Views: Scheduled to be released this October 26th, this is an opportunity to catch the documentary on one of the greatest comic writer of our time before everybody else. The trailer below does come across as a little wonky, though.
