Siri? Meet GLaDOSiri

Amazed by Apple's Siri, the revolutionary new feature of the iPhone 4S? Now, be impressed/depressed by GlaDOSiri.

While the official announcement of the iPhone 4S was met with overwhelmingly lukewarm response from the regular iPhone enthusiasts (though it has been reported late last night that pre-orders of the new iPhone has set a new record for an Apple product with more than one million units moved in the first 24 hours), one of the alluring features of the new phone was the much-talked-about "Siri", a "personal assistant" that responds to voice commands. Supported by the new A5 chip, Siri has been described by experts to be the "make or break" function for iPhone 4S to excel. For those unfamiliar with the new function, you might want to head over to Apple's page on the feature to check out more of the amazing details, or just check out the promotional video right after the jump.

Which come to our point: Is Siri the catalyst for a robot apocalypse with an uprise of the machines similar to those depicted in classic sci-fi films like the Terminator series and The Matrix franchise? Will Siri evolve into GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System), the villainous and cynical A.I. computer system featured in Valve Software's Half-Life video game series and more notably, the Portal game series, who have been called by critics as one of the best villains in video game history? Yes, while we admit this is pretty much a silly point, you have to agree with us that it is a fairly entertaining one though. As demonstrated by Jeff Bamfer in this awesome mash-up video clip, mixed with the gentle voice of GLaDOS in some epic misanthropic remarks.
