Ready? Dead Set? Go.

With AMC's "The Walking Dead" making debuting this Halloween, there is no doubt who is our Zombie of the Week. But you will be dead wrong thinking that the TV adaptation of the comic book series created by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore is the only compelling TV series with an undead problem. Look further, say Britain, for the absolutely darkly compelling UK miniseries, Dead Set.

Ever have that feeling while watching Reality TV crap like Survivor, The Amazing Race, or Jersey Shore, and suddenly wishing an actual Zombie Apocalypse can be fully unleashed right onto the show, sweeping whatever brain cells left in these so-called participants? I have. Which is why I sure as hell love the incredibly high-concept Dead Set.

Set in the Big Brother house, the critically acclaimed BAFTA-nominated horror drama created by English writer Charlie Brooker, "Dead Set", is one UK produced piece of "win" written all over it. Watch the ever-affable host turned into one freaking mad-on brain juice-crazy zombie while the participants engage in full-blown outrageous nonsensical outbreak of the human kind you can imagine.

Running every day of the week this All Hallow's Eve Week on Independent Film Channel (IFC) in the United States, this is something you just can't miss while on the way to the very Halloween itself. Should you miss any of these precious episodes throughout the week, do note that IFC will be running some kind of a marathon of the show on Sunday from 7:30pm onwards.
