Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition

As we approaches nearer to the release date of Square Enix and Eidos Montreal's hotly hyped Deus Ex: Human Revolution, let's take a look at the recently unveiled viral website and the special edition that has been announced.

We have been keeping a close eye (here, and here) on Square Enix and Eidos Montreal's long-awaited prequel to the critically acclaimed Deus Ex series, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. If you are one of the many who have been following the development of this title, this comes as a good news. Unlike most other special edition (for example, the ones for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood), this one won't cost you more than ten bucks and still pack one hell of a package. Entitled "Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition", the special edition is priced at $69.99 ($59.99 for PC), ten bucks more than the regular version.

The impressively packaged Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition bundles the game with a 40-page art book, a motion graphic novel, a making-of DVD, along with the game's soundtrack. While pre-orders at GameStop will be included with the Explosive Mission Pack, packed with a Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher, the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device, an automatic unlocking device, and an all-new, all-exclusive mission with featuring a surprising cameo from the original Deus Ex, those that are not made at GameStop can expect the Tactical Enhancement Pack, which comes with a Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the Longsword Whisperhead Extreme Range Sniper Rifle, and extra credits to spend in game.

So if we were to give out our unbiased views on this, you would definitely got to grab those GameStop exclusive, just so that you can move on with your life. Check out the lavishingly package special edition in its details, right after the jump.

In the meantime, a viral site for Sarif Industries, a seemingly innocent webpage for a cybernetic implant manufacturer was currently uncovered by joystiq, and is making quite a tremendous round through the net.
