The Force is strong with British artist Olly Moss's jaw-dropping rendition of the original trilogy of Star Wars.

We have earlier featured British artist Olly Moss's cool rendition of Marvel Studio's Thor poster just the other day.

Ever the prolific illustrator, Moss has created three amazing posters of the original trilogy of Star Wars for Mondo's Star Wars series, and boy does it kick ass!

Featuring colorful silhouettes of C-3PO, Darth Vader and Boba Fett juxtaposed with the lavish sceneries from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the set of three posters is a fitting celebration to the classic films with an innovative aesthetically twist.

The new posters show colorful silhouettes of C-3PO, Darth Vader and Boba Fett that are filled in with detailed imagery from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. To create original artwork for such rabidly adored films was daunting, Moss said, especially since so many of the visuals are already iconic.

Speaking to Wired, Moss described the process.

“It was so intimidating! There is such a wealth of great Star Wars art out there already, from paid professionals and from enthusiastic fans. I suppose my main aim was to make a set of Star Wars posters that were a little different from what people are used to seeing from the franchise, but still retained that essential Star Wars feel. I started by re-watching the original movies with a sketchbook on my lap, and just sort of went from there.”

Measuring 24 inches by 36 inches, these posters cost fifty bucks each and has an edition of 400 each. Grab them while you can as they have been on sale since Monday, December 20th.
