Read James Stokoe's Murderbullets

A stellar 102-page unpublished comic created by James Stokoe has been uploaded online.

We are gradually becoming a fan of writer/artist James Stokoe with his consistently astonishing artworks (here, and here). And with this extraordinarily generous gesture, we are officially in on the wagon.

The author of Orc Stain as well as one of the contributor of Marvel' Strange Tales II, Stokoe, has uploaded 102 pages (complete with awesome front and back covers as well as an even more awesome giant-size poster) of his unpublished comic, "Murderbullets" at his blog for free online.

The pages here were to be the prologue of a much longer book. There would be 5 more chapters to the story following the rather unlikable Murderbullets character, but then Orc Stain came along which I decided would be a much better idea to pursue for the next few years. So now it sits idly on my hard drive, gathering e-dust. I don’t think I would be a decent human being if I released this prologue in print without finishing the rest of the book, but the magic of free internet lets me share it with you now.

Believe us when we tell you, Mr. Stokoe, you are more than a decent human being, you are simply put wonderful!

Check out the entire comic at Stokoe's website, as we put up some of the post apocalyptic artwork after the jump.
