As the entire world continue to dwell in full Tron madness, check out these awesome "glow-in-the-dark" posters of both Tron and Tron: Legacy.

Mondo strikes again!

In Mondo's first work from their recently announced collaboration with Sideshow Collectibles, a pair of posters based on Disney’s Tron and Tron: Legacy are the first to be released some time today. Without further ado, hit the jump for the poster in its full-sized glory.

Yes, they do glow in the dark. How appropriate. Here's what Eric Tan has to say about them:

“When creating posters for each of the ‘Tron’ films, what immediately came to mind were the parallels between the two worlds and how it had progressed over the years. Since similar elements such as disks, light cycles, and recognizers exist in both, I thought showing the contrast between new and old was a visually interesting angle to play up. Linking the two main characters was something I thought would add to the storytelling and the father/son dynamic between Kevin and Sam Flynn. To me, those films are amazing examples of visual ‘candy,’ and I hope I was able to capture that in my posters.”

Each poster is a 16 x 24 inch edition of 240 and costs $40 each.

And for those wondering if there's anything beneficial for consumers as a result of the earlier mentioned collaboration between Mondo and Sideshow Collectibles, yes, there are indeed some good news that came along. While Mondo will continue to sell the regular edition of an item in their catalogue, if a variant exists (as is the case with these TRON posters), Sideshow will be selling it on their site at a later date.
