World-renowned illustrator Yoshitaka Amano (天野 喜孝) has finally announced his film directorial debut, a Sci-Fi Samurai adventure entitled "Deva Zan".

Well-known for his works on Vampire Hunter D and for his character designs, image illustrations and title logo designs for the Final Fantasy series, Yoshitaka Amano, despite his prolific resume, has only begun his foray into the film industry only early this year with his film production company, Studio Devaloka.

And with it comes his first anime, Deva Zan, a Sci-Fi Damurai action adventure 3D anime film. Due out next Spring in Japan, the film follows an amnesiac Samurai, Zan, who eventually assembles a team of soldiers to cross through time and space in a fight against the legions of darkness.
