First Look At Red Skull In The First Captain America Trailer

Posted by Grey Friday, February 11, 2011

You might have seen the incredibly pleasant debut trailer of Captain America: The First Avenger during Super Bowl last Sunday, but did you manage to catch a glimpse of the awesomely villainous Red Skull or the heroic Union JAck and Dum Dum Dugan in action? Yeah, me neither. Until now.

Not unlike how they covered the first Green Lantern trailer, the ever-diligent iO9 has released a collection of screens captured from the recently released trailer of the upcoming Marvel Universe comic-to-big screen adaptation, Captain America: The First Avenger, complete with their research and analysis.

For those who have missed out on our big blowout preview on the trailers released during last week' Super Bowl, here's the first trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger.

Those below are some excerpts from the actual article. Do head over to the iO9 article for more goodness.

The scrawny version of Steve Rogers is volunteering to get pumped up.
Hayley Atwell looks pretty happy. And check out the look on that nurse's face.
And it's the Red Skull! Hugo Weaving!!
Now Cap goes into action with his crew. That's Dum Dum Dugan on the right, with his famous bowler hat and mustache. On the left, I would guess that's Union Jack (J.J. Feild) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).
