Super Bowl Trailer Rundown

Posted by Grey Tuesday, February 8, 2011

Prepare yourself for an amazing adrenaline-pumping ride as we run down the finer trailers screened at the Super Bowl. Feast your eyes upon the first trailer of Chris Evans' Captain America, and glimpses of the ultra top-secret Spielberg/Abram film, Super 8, among many other highlights.

It's that time of the year again. Super Bowl is once again upon us, and for non-football-fans like us here at The Daily Zombies, the annual event does mean something more than the game that is the center of attention across the entire United States: It's the first opportunity for movie geeks like us to check out the trailers for the mostly hotly anticipated films in 2011. And if you are in sync with the daily movie titbits, you will remembered what Jon Favreau, the director of the Iron Man movies, has to say about the competition between the 2011's Summer movies:

"It's Omaha Beach, it's going to be a blood bath. There's never been a summer like this next summer. It's going to be bloody. As we were sticking thumb tacks in a calendar we realized that this is going to be looked back upon as Omaha Beach."

So this is our best shot at looking into the blood bath ahead, as we take a look ten of the best trailers screened during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
