Yakuza 4 Hostess Trailer

Posted by Grey Monday, February 7, 2011

"Every hardworking man deserves some R&R, right?"

The Daily Zombies say Hell Yeah to that.

In this kinkily funny trailer for the upcoming latest sequel in the long-running "Yakuza" series from Sega, have a taste of what you missed out previously: The cute and voluptuous hostess at the hostess bar in Kamurocho, the fictionalized replacement of an actual red-light district in Shinjuku, Tokyo, the infamous Kabukichō.

For the millions and millions of Yakuza fans in the US who got utterly disappointed with Sega's decision to omit the side quest gameplay mechanic of developing a successful hostess in the seedy district of Kamurocho for the English version of the game, and either 1) bite the bullet and played the straight western port, or 2) got positively motivated to learn Japanese in order to play the Japanese import, rejoice!

The hostess club will be open for business in Yakuza 4, you sick freak!

In the "Create a No. 1 Hostess!" mode, players, as co-protagonist Shun Akiyama, will be on a quest to scout girls for Elise, a cabaret club owned by Akiyama opposite the Millennium Tower. There will be all kinds of makeover crap and training stuffs in a quest to transform the girl in question as the No. 1 girl in the club.

That means you will get to chat up with seven young ladies out of more than one thousand five hundred who applied for the opportunity to be a virtual hostess. These lovely ladies includes (courtesy of Kotaku) Kyoto's Erena Aihara, ballerina Noa Mizutani, Osaka bar hostess Himeka Kawasaki, Shizuoka college student Chihiro Ikki, 28-year-old Suzuka Saitou, magazine model Maya Mori, and porn star Rio. Yes, that Rio who appeared in widely popular and acclaimed films like Squirting Young Wife and Let's Have Sex at School.

Here's an official wallpaper of Yakuza 4 to bring you back to the solemn mood of a proper gamer after that exciting piece of news.

Yakuza 4 was released last year in Japan to universal acclaim, winning an Award for Excellence from the Japan Game Awards 2010. It has been scheduled for a North American release on March 15th, 2011 and European in Q1 2011 release by Sega. For those who can't wait to get their hands on the hostesses, cough, game, a playable demo will hit the PlayStation Network later this month on February 22nd (NA) and February 23rd (EU).
