Scenes From The Mortal Kombat Web Series

Posted by Grey Saturday, March 26, 2011

It has been awhile since we last heard about the new Mortal Kombat web series that originated from a fan film. Let's take a look at what director Kevin Tancharoen has unveiled from his Twitter account, along with a speculated date of its release.

With the production currently in process in Vancouver, director Kevin Tancharoen has been teasing the online fans with early glimpses at the Mortal Kombat webseries via his Twitter account. Since February, Tancharoen has released images from the shooting, with some being actual set pictures while some are candid shots from the production.

And this is in our opinion, the best picture of the crop: Fatality!
Written by Kevin Tancharoen and Spartacus: Blood and Sand writers Todd Helbing and Aaron Helbin, the as-yet-untitled Mortal Kombat web series should be hitting the internet anytime soon, with Tancharoen tweeting that "to all that are asking. The first episode will premiere before the game Komes out...see what I did there?". For the uninformed, the latest Mortal Kombat game is currently slated for an April 19th release.

Follow Tancharoen at his Twitter account for more details on the web series.
