Posted by Grey Sunday, July 3, 2011

Robin is finally coming to Arkham City.

Rocksteady Studios's Batman: Arkham Asylum was widely recognized as the single best superhero game ever, making into the Guinness World Records as the "Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game" and more importantly, honored as 2009's "Game Of The Year" by us here at The Daily Zombies. With the announcement of its sequel, Batman: Arkham City, fans have been truly enthralled by what they have seen thus far. And now, fans of Robin can finally rest easy as we have our first look at Robin, courtesy of retailer Best Buy, making his debut appearance in Batman: Arkham City.

While supplies last, pre-order the game for an exclusive downloadable Robin character. Robin is a fully playable character in the new and improved challenge mode in Batman: Arkham City. The Tim Drake Robin pack is available exclusively to fans who pre-order the game from Best Buy on Xbox 360, PC and PS3.

Robin comes complete with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and will be playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack: Black Mask Hideout and Freight Train Escape.

The pack will also contain a bonus Red Robin character skin.

Yes, the "Tim Drake Robin pack", meaning it is not Dick Grayson or Jason Todd behind the domino mask and cowl.

Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham City is set to be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows in October.
