With the Comic-Con, we have yet another glimpse at Namco's timeless fighter, Soulcalibur V.

Much like Capcom's Street Fighter X Tekken and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom (in a considerably much perturbing way though), newly confirmed characters were added to the much anticipated Namco sword-fighter.

Joining the earlier announced new protagonist Patroklos Alexandra (who is Sophitia's son and the brother of fellow new character Pyrrha Alexandra) would be Natsu, a female ninja disciple of Taki, and Zwei, a man who is seemingly connected with Hildegard von Krone.

Rounding up the current reported roster would be series mainstay, Siegfried Schtauffen, Nightmare, Mitsurugi, and of course, fan-favorite, Ivy Valentine, who is supposedly in her forties now in the new installment of the long-running franchise, which is set seventeen years after the previous title. Noticed how I used "supposedly" very loosely there. Why? Hit the jump to check out the ever-voluptuous white-haired femme fatale in action in a series of cool character art and screenshots released during the Comic-Con.

And here are the newly-released screenshots.

The recently unveiled box art for the UK version of the title.

Soulcalibur V is currently scheduled for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012.
