Brace yourself for one hell of a Japanese kawaii overdrive: Hello Kitty meets Tony Tony Chopper.

In the proud vein of Marvel vs. Capcom, Street Fighter X Tekken (and vice versa), and any other out-of-this-world crossover madness you can think of at the back of your head, prepare yourself for one hell of a kawaii overdrive when Sanrio's very own iconic Hello Kitty crosses over with Eiichiro Oda's One Piece!

Launching this November, the "One Piece X Hello Kitty" project will see the wildly popular characters from One Piece (for the uninformed, the most popular manga series of all time in Japan, having achieved the status of being the highest-selling manga of all time in the history of manga) crossing over to the adorable world of Hello Kitty, which literally means that we will get to see the aforementioned Tony Tony Chopper, protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, and other crew members of the Straw Hat Pirates in some classic Hello Kitty get-ups, while Dear Daniel and Hello Kitty will get to don some cool new age pirates' outfits.

While those unfamiliar with the hot properties of One Piece might opined that the manga/anime series is on advantageous end of the crossover deal, all we can say is that you better wake up to the reality now: One Piece is indeed the hottest property in Japan right now, and Hello Kitty has everything in the world to gain from the deal. Need more proof? Earlier yesterday, Tecmo Koei and Namco Bandai have announced One Piece: Kaizoku Musou「ワンピース 海賊無双」, a hack-and-slash game in the proud tradition of Koei's best-selling, long-running Dynasty Warriors franchise not unlike the earlier Hokuto Musou and Gundam Musou.
