WATCH this Insanely Funny X-Men: First Class Deleted Scene

Posted by Grey Sunday, August 28, 2011

Need further proof of the swinging depravity of James McAvoy's rendition of Professor X in the excellent X-Men: First Class? Well, here it is, and the joke is squarely on Michael Fassbender's Magneto.

Remember the scene in Matthew Vaughn's excellent X-Men: First Class where James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, in their roles of Charles Xavier (Professor X), and Erik Lensherr (Magneto), respectively, visited the stripper bar in an effort to recruit Zoë Kravitz's Angel Salvadore? We are certain you do remember Magneto having a brief display of his magnetic powers by levitating a champagne bucket to convince Angel to display her powers. But do you recall Xavier doing anything since the two chums did specifically indicated that they will show her their powers in return for her to show her's?

Well, turned out there was indeed an unbelievable display of Xavier's amazing psychic ability, but it was eventually deleted for obvious reasons. Thankfully, we can now witness what was left on the cutting room floor thanks to Entertainment Weekly, who have unveiled the deleted scene, which will be collected in the upcoming "X-Men: First Class" DVD and Blu-ray set to be released on September 9th.

Hit the jump to check out the gut-busting scene (Head over to Entertainment Weekly to watch a longer version).
