We revisit J. J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg's Super 8 with Tiffany Liao's manga-esque rendition of the kids from the film.

Written and directed by J. J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg, Super 8 was one of the most unique offerings from Hollywood this Summer. While one might complain of its perceived family-friendly ending or its nostalgic resemblance to Spielberg's signature moves, the film remained to be an oddball in Hollywood's big Summer box office war for its emotionally gripping tale of acceptance and its impressive ensemble cast of fine young actors that made up its main protagonists.

Here, artist Tiffany Liao recreates the timelessness of the film, crossed with a manga style.
