"Or else, I'll turn you into a Fucking tree. Captain Planet, motherfucker." - Don Cheadle's Captain Planet

Okay, we are still trembling with fear over reports of the planned Captain Planet live-action adaptation by Cartoon Network and Transformers franchise producer Don Murphy.

In "Don Cheadle is Captain Planet", an incredibly funny clip by Don Cheadle (for the uninformed, the amazing actor who is perhaps best-known for his turn as Jim Rhodes, AKA War Machine in Iron Man 2) and the folks at Funny or Die, Cheadle teaches us a thing or two on how exactly can a live-action Captain Planet flick work, and we stand corrected. Is it too much for us to have Cartoon Network and Don Murphy to turn to Cheadle for their big Captain Planet film which is a cross between Mark Waid's Irredeemable and the works of Quentin Tarrantino?
