Alfred At Your Service

Move away, Jeeves. There's no other "gentleman's personal gentleman" quite like Alfred, the faithful butler to Bruce Wayne. And now Alfred is at everybody's service.

Batman's very own batman (a soldier or airman assigned to a commissioned officer as a personal servant) takes the spotlight in the latest promotional campaign for Rocksteady's critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham City.

Alfred Pennyworth, the fiercely loyal butler to Bruce Wayne (AKA Batman), has been an important figure in the iconic Dark Knight's long-standing mythology. Aiding the Caped Crusader in all tasks ranging from the mundane (sardonic comic relief, daily meals for the Robins, and concocting white lies to see out the millionaire playboy's latest beau) to the most peculiar (actual detective work, figuring out clues to locate a time-displaced Batman, and fighting alien invaders alongside the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman). And now, Alfred is at your beck and call in all your internet search shenanigan at Alfred At Your Service, an actual fully-functioning search engine to promote the release of Batman: Arkham City.

While the site operates like any other search engines (but with a venerable butler beside the search bar as well as some promotional advert for the game), you can have some interesting comments from Alfred himself when you type in search terms related to the grand mythology of Batman.

For example:

Monarch Theatre
A place of deep significance to Master Bruce, this abandoned theater went out of business soon after the horrific event that created the Dark Knight. Alfred.

Wayne Manor
The ancestral home of the Wayne family, of which I have long been the loyal caretaker. Alfred.

We have seen the Arkham City rendition of Batman's most famous and infamous allies and enemies. As an added bonus, we can now get to see the game's rendition of undoubtedly one of Batman's closest allies.
