Dave Rapoza's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Cowabunga! Witness the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in their utmost badass form.

It's a blast from the past as 1980s's beloved Saturday Morning Cartoon series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gets a shell-shocking reinterpretation that remained close to the grim and gritty origins of the original comic series first published in 1984 by creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.

Painstakingly illustrated by artist Dave Rapoza, these badass renditions of the classic comic/animation characters are perfect to usher in a new age of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. From a sublimely gorgeous April O'Neil to an absolutely kick-ass Shredder, the most amazing thing about these illustrations is how Rapoza stayed completely true to the original character design and yet imposing a renewed sense of grittiness to these beloved characters.

A selection of the set are now available in 18” x 24” prints on a limited run (40 sets of 4). Check out Rapoza's site to learn more on how you can get your hands on them.

For now, hit the jump to check out these awesome illustrations.
