Vasilis Lolos's Pop Art/Superhero Fusion

Greek artist Vasilis Lolos takes on the superheroes of Comics's Big Two.

Image Comics's The Pirates of Coney Island was an unfortunate eight-issue series that have us waiting for the last two issues since 2006. While we are not quite certain if writer Rick Spears or artist Vasilis Lolos is to be blamed for the eternal delay, we remained hopeful for the energetic art of Lolos to see print some day. Today is not that day. Nevertheless, it is still arguably a good day. Lolos has posted some pretty cool illustrations taking on the superheroes of DC and Marvel. Reminiscent of Paul Pope's unique style, check out these original vision of Lolos right after the jump.
