The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Concept Art

Posted by Grey Tuesday, November 15, 2011

With the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim last week, we take a look at the marvelous concept art of the much-anticipated upcoming new chapter in the Elder Scrolls series from Bethesda Game Studios, courtesy of concept artist Ray Lederer.

Earlier we have seen some of the gorgeous concept art as well as the appearances of the numerous genders and species available in Bethesda Studio's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the long-awaited fifth installment in The Elder Scrolls action RPG series following 2006's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Today, courtesy of concept artist Ray Lederer, feast upon the top notch art we have come to expect from the series, complete with the old-school vibe of good ol' sword-and-sorcery. From meats, to soldier's armor, exotic locales, to your favorite dragon/warrior stand-down, hit the jump to check out these images. Do head over to the artist's blog for more of the same awesome stuff.

In parting, thanks to Kotaku, check out these excerpts from the 200-page art book packaged in the relatively high-end Collector's Edition of the title, along with some earlier released images.
