Grand Theft Auto V: First Trailer!

Posted by Grey Wednesday, November 2, 2011

Ladies and gentlemen, with no further ado, the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto V.

Earlier last week, we reported on Rockstar Games's stellar announcement that the debut trailer of Grand Theft Auto V will be released on November 2nd.

As promised, Rockstar has released the first trailer of the much-anticipated fifth installment in the critically acclaimed, best-selling Grand Theft Auto series. Now hit the jump already.

As confirmed by the 1:25-minute clip, it's going to be a glorious return to Los Santos, the series's very own twisted version of Los Angeles first seen in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Is this really Ray Liotta's voice, back in his role as Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City? Will we be, for the first time ever, playing as several characters?

For those wondering what's the track featured in the trailer, Kotaku has identified the track to be the title track on the 1968 album called Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake by the British band The Small Faces.

Also courtesy of Kotaku, here's a collection of screen captures from the clip. Head over to Kotaku to check out their close analysis of each image.
