With Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 set to hit the stores later this week, Capcom and Marvel have released a bunch of new promotional art and even unveiled more of those wacky alternate outfits for the characters.

Earlier last month, we have had a somewhat conclusive preview weighing in on the necessity of Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Capcom's expansion edition of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. Among the numerous factors considered in our preview, we have to admit that the alternate costumes have to be one of the most intriguing elements given the wide range of effects they evoked, from the awesome to the truly ludicrous.

With the title set to be released later this week, Capcom and Marvel have released more of these cool alternate costumes, as well as some of the latest promotional art to the title.

Hit the jump to first check out the promotional posters illustrated by Captain America & Bucky artist Francesco Francavilla and Capcom’s Shinkiro.

And here are more of the cool alternate outfits, ranging from the inspired ones drawn from sources both well-known and obsolete, as well as those plain ludicrous.

In closing, we give you a previewing look at the action-packed gameplay sequence of Marvel's space-faring Rocket Raccoon.
