Brad McGinty 's Crazy Christmas Cards from 1955!

Posted by Grey Saturday, December 24, 2011

Behold quite possibly one of the creepiest Christmas Cards ever.

Remember the viscerally intriguing "Anatomical Guide to the Xenomorph" by Minnesota-based comic book artist Brad McGinty that provided us a most interesting anatomical analysis to the H. R. Giger's infamous creation in Ridley Scott's classic 1979 sci-fi horror film?

McGinty is back again with yet another grisly rendition of icons. And being Christmas, we all know who's in line this time round. Interestingly, the piece, which is available as a print at McGinty's website, is "reportedly" created by McGinty's grandfather, one Bradwick McGinty, in 1955.

Head over to McGinty's website to learn more of the vintage card's "tragic" origins. In the meantime, hit the jump to check them out.
