We take another look at Timur Bekmambetov's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter this Undead Monday with the newly-released images and poster from the film.

Last Undead Boxing Day, we have had our first sneak peek at Timur Bekmambetov's live-action adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, the quirky mash-up novel written by Seth Grahame-Smith, well-known for The New York Times best-selling novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, with its first poster. Today, along with the release of a new poster by 20th Century Fox, we take another sneak peek at the film that boldly reimagine one of the famous historical figure in America ever as a vampire killer with the newly-released images courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of our greatest President, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the blood-thirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead.

Starring Benjamin Walker as Abraham Lincoln, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Todd Lincoln, Lincoln's wife, and Rufus Sewell, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is currently scheduled to be released in 2D and 3D on June 22nd, 2012.
