The promotion engine behind Columbia Pictures's Men in Black III continues its war path with a new trailer.

Towards the end of last year, we have had our first glimpse at with the release of the first trailer and posters of Columbia Pictures's Men in Black III. While our first look for the second sequel no one asked for doesn't exactly excite us, the fact that it is business as usual for the Men in Black a decade after its last cinematic outing is good news enough for fans of the quirky best-selling film series that is originally based on the Malibu / Marvel comic book series The Men in Black by Lowell Cunningham.

In the latest trailer freshly released by Columbia Pictures, our questions have finally been answered as we witnessed the eventful "outing" of Andy Warhol's alien nature. Here’s the synopsis for the film:

In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

Directed by returning director Barry Sonnenfeld and stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, the film also stars Nicole Scherzinger, Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, Rip Torn, and Johnny Knoxville. Men in Black III is currently scheduled to release in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on May 25th, 2012.
