Mirror’s Edge: The Music Video?

Posted by Grey Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Fans of EA Digital Illusions CE's Mirror’s Edge? Then you will dig this music video.

In the first trailer of Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man, many opined that the action sequences where Spider-Man's swings around the city in first-person perspective were taken right out of the page of EA Digital Illusions CE's unique first-person action-adventure video game, Mirror’s Edge. While that notion might just be accurate (given the similarities), here's an even more "inspired" clip that push the "inspiration" envelope even further.

In "The Stampede", a track by Moscow-based punk rock band, Biting Elbows, the first-person action sequence started slowly but surely, gradually exploding into one relentless chase after another, complete with some interesting sci-fi element.
