As we approach the last lap of marketing frenzy of Marvel Studios' The Avengers, we switched our focus to some of the artworks produced to commemorate the ultimate Marvel zombies fanboy dream come true.
We are officially at the last leg of the final hype of Marvel Studios' superhero all-star film, The Avengers. Taking a step away from Marvel Studio's all-consuming marketing campaign, we switched gears to take a look at some of the artworks produced to commemorate the release of the film from associated partners from both Disney and Marvel .
First up, we have Mondo, the Alamo Drafthouse’s collectible art boutique which have brought us numerous incredible alternate rendition of movie posters as well as their impressive take on Captain American: The First Avenger film earlier, kicking off their first posters for The Avengers. Leading the pack is this elegant minimalist design by the impeccable Olly Moss as well as the cool pop art-esque rendition of Hawkeye by Tom Whalen that is immediately reminiscent of Jim Steranko's work.

Next up, we take a look at a specially-commissioned poster courtesy of IMAX, who will also be giving away a limited edition of the print to those attending the IMAX 3D midnight show of the film on May 4th.
In closing, here's a piece of great news for the Marvel Zombies and fans of Marvel Cinematic Universe living in Los Angeles. In collaboration with Gallery1988 in Hollywood, an art exhibition featuring a host of art works inspired by The Avengers by artists like Dave Perillo, DKNG Studios, Scott Campbell, Kiersten Essenpreis, and many others will be running throughout the opening weekend of the film from May 3rd to 6th.
Do head over to Gallery1988’s official page for more information. In the meantime, here's a sneak peek at the art pieces from the show.
