In this red hot weekend amid Marvel Studios' massive promotion for Joss Whedon's The Avengers, we take a look at numerous items coming from The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan's upcoming swansong to his epic Batman trilogy.

Following our updates on Marvel Studios' superhero all-star film, The Avengers, we take a look at the other superhero film featuring the only superhero who is iconic and big enough to take on Marvel's heavy-hitters: The goddamn Batman.

First up, we have a kick-ass teaser to tide us over for now with an awesome remake of the full theatrical trailer of the film... in LEGO form! We have earlier seen some very impressive alternate take on the film's much-talked-about trailer, from the hilarious sweded version, the nostalgic remake with scenes from the classic Batman: The Animated Series, to the innovative mash-up with Nolan's earlier film, The Prestige. But this is indeed something to behold. Kudos to the folks from ParanickFilmz.



Meanwhile, at the Batcave... in Hong Kong.... With the release date set for Hong Kong on July 19th, a double-decker bus customized to promote the film was spotted by eagle-eyed fan Andrew Haxley.



In closing, words have been circulating online that the third film in the series will be rated PG-13, similar to 2008's The Dark Knight. Just the way we would have want it.
