Prometheus: David 8 Viral Campaign & New Images

The creepily cool viral campaign featuring Michael Fassbender as the Android, David 8, continues as we veer ever closer to the release date of Ridley Scott's Prometheus.

Our anticipation level for Prometheus, the upcoming sci-fi horror film featuring director Ridley Scott's return to the genre he made famous, has been well-documented right from the unveiling of the first images on Entertainment Weekly, its first poster, and its first trailer. And with these latest clips from the film's remarkable viral campaign, we are more hyped than ever for the film set to be released on June 8th.

At our last stop covering Prometheus, we have a chilling TED talk presentation by Peter Weyland, founder and head of Weyland Corp, as portrayed by Guy Pearce, as well as the unboxing of David 8, an android portrayed by Michael Fassbender. Today, the campaign continues with a two-and-a-half minute clip featuring the talented actor in a full-on creepy portrayal of David 8. Following the release of the clip, Collider posted this exclusive image, a part of the viral puzzle that supposedly will unlock one of eight emotions for David 8.

And as a reminder that the Weyland Corporation don't only meddle in the android business, more viral posters featuring other products of the technological giant have also been released.

In conjunction with Verizon, a mini-game known as "Prometheus Mission Connect" was also put forth of which winner can get to win a trip to London to visit Pinewood Studio. Here are images captured from the mini-game:
