Dead Space 3: First Look - E3 2012 - Undead Monday

Posted by Grey Monday, June 18, 2012

This Undead Monday, embark on a journey to Space, Dead Space in particular with series protagonist Isaac Clarke with the announcement of Dead Space 3.

At our last stretch of coverage of this year's E3, we take a look at the inevitable but still somehow unexpected announcement of Dead Space 3, the third installment of Electronic Arts and Visceral's Sci-Fi Survival Horror game series, Dead Space.

Our love for the franchise that seemingly effortlessly fused horror and sci-fi into a hell (literally) of an action-adventure video game have been well-documented. With the third installment of the well-received series, protagonist Isaac Clarke moves on with his misery as he crash-landed on a frozen planet known as Tau Volantis. Will this hostile new environment be the final battleground for Isaac to end the Necromorph scourge? One thing's for sure: He wouldn't be alone this time round. Earthgov Sergeant John Carver, the character who made his appearance in the graphic novel, will be in the game for some optional "drop-in/drop-out" co-op gameplay. In addition, Ellie Langford from Dead Space 2 will also return for the third installment.

With no further ado, hit the jump to check out the trailer.

Game for a gameplay running more than twenty minutes? Here you go.
