Naughty Dog's entry into the Survival Horror Action-Adventure video game genre might just be one of its best yet. We take another look into the much-anticipated "The Last of Us" with the gameplay trailer released during Sony's presentation at E3.

First unveiled at last year's Spike Video Game Awards (VGA), The Last of Us, Naughty Dog's upcoming Survival Horror Action-Adventure video game exclusively for Sony PlayStation 3 was our Zombie of the Week back then, and with its ominous presence clearly felt at this year's E3 with the release of its new gameplay trailer, we know exactly who to turn to when pondering this week's best zombie.

Based on the awesome gameplay trailer, The Last of Us is shaping up like the "Survival Horror video game nirvana complete with a post-apocalyptic wasteland filled with unique zombie-like creatures with a gameplay narrative heavy with characterization for its protagonists" that we have expected.

Shown only at the very end of Sony's conference, hit the jump to check out the brutal exploits of protagonists Joel and Ellie's emotionally-charged journey into hte underbelly of a full-blown post-apocalypse metropolis.

And here new screenshots from the title.

Developed exclusively for Sony PlayStation 3 by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us is scheduled to be released some time in 2013.
