Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Konami's ridiculously-renamed latest installment to their critically acclaimed and insanely popular Metal Gear franchise returns with an awesome gameplay trailer at E3.

We have last mentioned Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the purported next chapter in the phenomenal stealth action game series, Metal Gear Solid, now developed by Platinum Games, during last year's Spike Video Game Awards.

Despite the really lame renaming of the game, we were fans of what we saw: A no-nonsense, all-out balls-to-the-walls crazy-ass action-packed thrill ride. With the recently-released gameplay trailer at E3, we were provided more evidence to that claim.

With no further ado, hit the jump to check out the adrenaline-pumping trailer:

Here's a gameplay demo walkthrough clip.

Here's the title screen clip for obvious teasing purpose.

And here are screenshots from the trailer.

Originally scheduled to be released some time this year, the title is now set to be released early 2013.
