Catwoman of Shanghai, 1930s

Before we have a close assessment of Anne Hathaway's take on the iconic Catwoman, check out the femme fatale in action in this awesome clip featuring Catwoman in action, circa 1930s Shanghai.

Cartoon Network's DC Nation has been an incredible source of bold innovative take on the iconic superheroes and villains of DC Comics with a steady stream of brilliant original animated short films. At the recently ended San Diego Comic-Con International, we have yet another treat thanks to this awesome preview clip from the upcoming Bat Man of Shanghai by Shanghai-based Wolf Smoke Studio.

With no further ado, hit the jump to check out the clip for an amazing Catwoman of Shanghai, 1930s.



Awestruck by the refreshingly vibrant animation? Here are some of the screenshots from the one-minute teaser followed by more awe-inspiring reveals on what the next episode that will be screening some time later this week.






And here's the big reveal that some of the sharp-eyed viewers would have taken note of during the clip: Bane!

While the cameo of Bane depicted him as pencil-neck skinny man with the signature mask, the following picture for the upcoming clip features the character infused by venom and pumped up the good ol' Bane we known and loved... or loathed.

The eponymous Bat Man of Shanghai will appear in the third episode of the series. Stay tuned.
