Batman vs. Daredevil in Dustin Nguyen's Demon Nights

In a perfect world, we would have seen the two-part crossover series of "A Bat in Hells Kitchen" and "The Devil that Came to Gotham" with art by American artist Dustin Nguyen.

While Marvel's Man Without Fear and DC's Dark Knight have indeed crossed path before not once but twice in two unfortunately equally disappointing crossover specials:

1997's Daredevil and Batman: Eye For An Eye, and...

2000's Batman Daredevil: King of New York.

And none of them would have come even close to a possible two-part crossover series entitled Demon Nights, consisting of two chapter, one published by Marvel and the other by DC.

"A Bat in Hells Kitchen" would be written by Paul Dini while "The Devil that Came to Gotham" would be written by Ed Brubaker. Art on both titles would be by artist Dustin Nguyen. Isn't that a perfect world in comics?

Anyway, the notion were put forth by Nguyen in this awesome cover to the dream project.

Well, one can dream, isn't it?
