Hilarious Memos from Nick Fury

Half-mad chain-drinking Demi-Gods.

Bonkers S.H.I.E.L.D. agents hell-bent on pulling a fast one on the World's greatest Super-Soldier.

Binge-drinking parties held by incorrigible alcoholic/billionaire playboy/super-genius scientist/superhero.

Just another day in the life of Colonel Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D..

In Marvel Studios' The Avengers, Samuel L. Jackson's take on Nick Fury, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. who happens to be the Zeitgeist of cool according to Jack Kirby, was well-received enough to be worthy of the little-known pop culture icon status. Well, at least we can safely conclude that David Hasselhoff wouldn't be getting that kind of reception if he were to be cast as the role again.

Which is precisely the point of this article: Who else can possibly ignited such well-intentioned humorous take on the Avengers?

Currently doing the rounds everywhere online, Memos From Fury is a nifty Tumblr that conjures all kind of realistic-looking official memos written by Col. Fury himself with some truly hilarious contents on his daily misadventures managing Demi-Gods, billionaire playboy/genius scientist, recently-defrosted Super-Soldier, trigger-happy hot chick and other eccentric figures.

Hit the jump for some of the cooler samplers from the Tumblr and let the hilarity ensures.
