Tomer Hanuka's Vertigo

Posted by Grey Tuesday, March 12, 2013

Israeli illustrator Tomer Hanuka takes on Alfred Hitchcock's all-time classic thriller and the result is appropriately hypnotic.

While it is true that Vertigo, Alfred Hitchcock's iconic psychological thriller in 1958, was met with lukewarm response during its initial release and only managed to break even its budget, the film is now well-known for being one of the best films of all time by numerous notable film-makers and scholars alike.

In this astonishing rendition of the film conjured by award-winning Israeli illustrator Tomer Hanuka, the hypnotic element that defined the classic thriller is excellently captured. Released last July as a 13x19" print at a limited run of 55 at $85, the print has obviously sold out by now. Nevertheless, hit the jump to check out the awesome rendition.
