Thanks to his earlier work with the Print Posse's unauthorized but awesome take on World War Z, artist Matt Ferguson gets to take on the cover of the reissue of Max Brook’s The Zombie Survival Guide.

Back in February, we applauded The Print Posse, a collective ensemble of eight talented artists, for their unauthorized yet utterly awesome take on
German-Swiss film-maker Marc Forster and actor Brad Pitt's live action adaptation of Max Brook's World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War.

Among the submissions, artist Matt Ferguson's take is easily one of the best alternate rendition of the film. Apparently, writer Max Brook also agreed with this fact and in the upcoming reissue of his best-selling novel, The Zombie Survival Guide, Ferguson has been commissioned to provide the cover. Taking more than a cue from his Print Posse piece on World War Z, Ferguson refined the concept and roll out something visually arresting. Hit the jump to check out the work.
