Posted by The Daily Zombies Sunday, July 28, 2013

The Daily Zombies take another Look at Metallica: Through the Never with the release of the new trailer and poster of the 3D IMAX concert film featuring the legendary heavy metal band.

In our First Look at Metallica: Through the Never, we were pretty astounded by the awesome fusion of kick-ass music and grandeur visual thanks to Nimród Antal, the writer-director behind 2010's Predators. Comprising both concert footage from a set of concerts held by Metallica in 2012 as well as a surreal adventure starring Dane DeHaan as Trip, a band crew member on an urgent mission that develop into a set of catastrophic circumstances, the film is currently scheduled to open exclusively in IMAX on September 27th followed by normal theaters in 3D a week later.

For more on the film, head over to Collider for a comprehensive interview conducted with members of the legendary heavy metal band, drummer Lars Ulrich and bass player Robert Trujillo, as well as producer Charlotte Huggin.

Without further ado, hit the jump to check out the trailer.

And here's a cool new poster for the film.
