Sherlock Season Three Teaser Trailer & SDCC Panel

Posted by The Daily Zombies Saturday, August 3, 2013

Dying to have your first shot at the much-anticipated triumphant return of BBC's Sherlock? PBS is here to help with this torturous teaser trailer.

While our admiration over BBC's tremendously well-done modernist take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's timeless classic, Sherlock Holmes, is pretty much bloody well documented, we would be the first to tell you the fact that we simply cannot wait for the season three to kick off given the incredible cliffhanger season finale of season two. Having creators of the series showing up at the recently ended Comic-Con was a stroke of genius, and we were very well teased by the creators on what is to come.

Thankfully, PBS has released an astonishing teaser trailer to tide us over with Benedict Cumberbatch back as the titular character while Martin Freeman's John Watson is back with a furious moustache. With no further ado, please join us in our delights right after the jump.

Speaking of the SDCC panel, here's a full clip capturing all the humor and intelligence one might expect from the series creators Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, and Sue Vertue.
