Mr. Nobody: First Look

Posted by The Daily Zombies Sunday, September 22, 2013

For an acclaimed 2009 film that have been released in almost everywhere round the world but Stateside, Mr. Nobody has apparently garnered enough interest that it will finally be getting a limited theatrical and on iTunes.  Here's our First Look at the sweeping sci-fi film thanks to a newly-released trailer by Magnolia Films.

An astoundingly moving film with sci-fi element, Belgian film-maker Jaco Van Dormael's Mr. Nobody was a lost gem for the cinema Stateside since its world premiere at the 66th Venice International Film Festival where it also received the Golden Osella and the Biografilm Lancia Award. With its sweeping philosophy and edgy cinematography, the film has eventually became a cult film with a strong following. Following Cloud Atlas's fleeting story-telling display, it is apparent that the non-linear narrative of Mr. Nobody was finally noticed and will now be having a limited theatrical release as well as an iTunes release.

Hit the jump to check out the moving trailer released by Magnolia Film.

Here are the posters released for the film, mostly European for obvious reasons.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

A young boy stands on a station platform. The train is about to leave. Should he go with his mother or stay with his father? An infinity of possibilities rise from this decision. As long as he doesn’t choose, anything is possible. Every life deserves to be lived.

Mr. Nobody will be available On Demand and iTunes on November 1st.
